Pieter van Halem is Managing Director and Co-Founder of CornerstoneCapital AG and during his 18 year tenure in the private equity industry, he has been in charge of many Buyouts/Pipes as well as growth capital investments.

Prior to founding CornerstoneCapital, Pieter van Halem was an Investment Director at 3i responsible for growth capital investments in Frankfurt. He also successfully led and executed several Buyout transactions. Previously, he worked for seven years in management consulting at Arthur Andersen and in investment banking at Citigroup.

He holds a degree in business administration from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel as well as an MBA from the University of Virginia.

Pieter van Halem is Vice Chairman of ELTEC Elektronik AG and supervises our majority investment in EppsteinFOILS GmbH & Co. KG.
