Forbatec GmbH

Forbatec was a leading software vendor for investment companies and equity funds. The software suite FORBA.V3 was one of the market-leading solutions for the back, middle and front office of investment funds in German-speaking countries. Its customers included almost all well-known German asset management companies.

After the MBO and a successful development of the company, Forbatec was 100% sold and integrated to the American IT group SunGard. Today SunGard is the global leader for finance software with more than $ 9 billion in revenue and over 55,000 employees.

The former managing directors of Forbatec joined SunGard to make a management career on an European level.
