Isolite develops sophisticated high-temperature insulation and sealing systems for the world’s major industries, designed for process temperatures between 400 and 1600 ° C.

Cornerstone and the managing director Peter Bechtel acquired Isolite from Vinci S.A., a French construction company with 185,000 employees, as part of a carve-out. Originally specializing in certified air parts, Isolite increasingly acquired automotive industry orders for high-temperature insulation of high-compression engines during Cornerstone’s involvement.

Isolite belongs today with approx. 500 employees and ten locations to the Japanese Hitachi Group.
